I’ve watched a lot of the films about Batman but not read many of the comics apart from “The Killing Joke” which Rachael bought me for my birthday. As the new 52 is just beginning and I own an iPad I’ve started to read the new Detective Comics. I don’t live anywhere near a comic book store and I know I can subscribe to print copies but I want to get a good grounding so I searched the ever trusted Google and stumbled across this post on Comic Vine: http://www.comicvine.com/batman/29-1699/how-should-i-get-started-on-batman-comics/92-27334/

I read Paranormal’s response and decided he seems like a sensible man to listen to and so that’s what I shall do.
