Our kitchen started life as dining room with a small galley kitchen. The galley became the downstairs toilet and utility, the dining room became a large kitchen diner with an extension including folding, sliding doors out to the garden.
With the help of my genius parents ideas, Howden’s planning and some brute force from friends and family we managed to turn:
1970’s decor in the dining room when we first bought the house
using these designs:
Howden’s design for the corner and range cooker in the fireplace
Straight on view of the range cooker and worktops
View of the kitchen corner when we moved in. We have since finished the detailing around the kitchen cabinets, installed plinth lighting controlled by the Home Easy remote and a Smeg dishwasher found on eBay.
Straight on view of our Flavel range cooker which is a joy to use to cook for a lot of people, not that we do very often.
