I’ve just been for a wander at lunch and found a couple of new books to read in Jabbawock Books (they also sell online via Amazon). Completely different to my usual reading but What Do You Buy the Children of the Terrorist Who Tried to Kill Your Wife?: A Memoir looks like an interesting and emotive take on the current Middle Eastern conflict and How to Make a Human Being: A Body of Evidence is hopefully a slightly less heavy read into quantum physics amongst other areas of science.

I’ve read the first chapter of What do you buy… whilst eating my lunch by the river and found the style easy to read, descriptive and enlightening in to an area of current affairs that I know a woeful amount about. When it comes to reading quantum physics, I’m fairly certain I know even less but that’s the enjoyment in reading them….hopefully.

Not bad for 50p each but I’m not sure I’ll be able to take a book containing the word terrorist with me through the airport.
